MSRDF DTMF Transmitter T-Hunt Log
Hunt Log
Hunt Coordinator: Diane Johnson (K5DMJ)
Event Description: In addition to the primary transmitter on 146.565 which we have hidden at Trace Park, we have also hidden this BONUS transmitter which is listening on an undisclosed frequency. In order to make it talk to you, you must use your own radio to transmit DTMF Tone #1. When this BONUS transmitter hears DTMF Tone #1 it will begin transmitting for about 90 seconds before returning to listening mode. Here's the catch: You have to find the primary transmitter which is transmitting on 146.565 first in order to find out which frequency this transmitter is listening on. We have written this transmitter's frequency on the log sheet beside the primary transmitter.
