Hunter Instructions
The complete T-Hunt procedure
Register for an Account → Hunt for a Transmitter → Find it → Scan the Find Logging QR Code → answer three questions → LOG FIND.
You need to have a registered Hunter account and must be logged into it for the QR Code to record your find. If you scan while logged out, Hunt Manager will send you to Login and safely return you to the same Find after login; you will not need to scan again.

This is completely optional. You do not need to sign up or indicate your plans to participate in the Hunt. You may hunt at any time during the scheduled Hunt period.
When you find the transmitter
- Scan the transmitter's Logging QR Code.
- Hunt Manager immediately records the server time as your official Found time.
- Answer Hunt Difficulty.
- Answer Does the Hunt Coordinator deserve a Favorite Point for this Hide?
- Enter required Comments.
- Select LOG FIND.
The five Hunt Difficulty choices are Very Easy, Easy, Moderate, Challenging, and Extremely Challenging.
If an answer is missing, the same Find remains open and its original Found time does not change. Scanning again also reopens the same Find instead of creating another result.
When there is no cell phone coverage
If a transmitter is hidden in an area without cell phone coverage, a clipboard with a paper log sheet and pen will be provided at the transmitter.
Record your name, Callsign or Hunter ID, and the time you found the transmitter on the paper log sheet.
After the Hunt has ended and the Hunt Coordinator has recovered the paper log, the Hunt Coordinator will manually enter those results into the online Hunt Manager.
Optional photo after the Find
After you see Your Find has been logged., you may upload a photo of you or a member of your group hunting for the transmitter, or select NO THANKS.
The Find is already complete. The optional photo never affects the Found time, FTF, leaderboard, Favorite Point, Difficulty, Comments, or validity of the Find.
Large phone photos are reduced before upload. A submitted photo remains private until an Administrator approves it. A failed upload can be retried on the same Find.
After the Hunt Ends
After the Hunt ends, when the Hunt Coordinator retrieves the transmitter, the complete Hunt Log will appear at the top of the Closed Hunt Page. It shows Name, Callsign or Hunter ID, Timestamp, Difficulty, Favorite Point, and Comments. Placement, Find, and retrieval timestamps are identified in their respective rows. Only Administrator-approved optional Hunter Hunt Photos are published.
